Coming Soon: Rockhopper’s Quest

Greetings!
Happy77 here. By now you’ve probably seen that Rockhopper’s Quest is coming on February 24. In fact, Rockhopper’s ship is almost here now! I’m super excited about the big quest, and wanted to give you more info about what to look forward to.
During the quest, everyone will get to set sail aboard Rockhopper’s ship for the very first time! I know many of you have wanted to travel aboard the Migrator, so this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.
Get ready to set sail…

The quest is a little different than most Club Penguin parties, since everything’s happening on faraway islands! Both members and penguins with free accounts will get to discover these new places. Plus there’s some exclusive stuff for members to discover, like new items and a mysterious Viking Cave…
We’ll have a sneak peek video for you later this week, so stay tuned for that! :)
So what are you most excited about? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Can’t wait to hear what you think…

Behind the Scenes Update

It’s been busy here at Club Penguin HQ! For the last few months, we’ve dedicated a lot of the Club Penguin team to make the experience faster, and to squash some big bugs that were getting in the way.

Here are a few examples of what we’ve done:

  • Faster loading: One of the things we’ve heard is that you want to log on to Club Penguin faster. We’re listening, and have been working on a bunch of improvements… everything from room and game speed to server upgrades.
  • Blue screen bug: Some of you were getting disconnected while seeing a blue loading screen. Guess what? The team squashed this pesky bug!! Thanks for being so patient.
  • Small screen trick: Did you figure out this trick yet? Now you can switch between Small Screen and Big Screen without logging off!
We’re working on more improvements, so stay tuned as we continue to make Club Penguin even better!
Until then… Waddle On!

The Island’s Sinking

Blackshark39 here. Get ready for the Underwater Expedition because the island is sinking at this very moment! If you go to the Beach, there are more boxes besides the lighthouse.

In addition, the island looks like it had dipped in more into the water.

Until then, Waddle On!

$620,000 in Donations

Greetings Penguins!

Happy77 here. It’s time for the first Reviewed by You post of 2012. Last time, I asked about your favorite way to save up coins in Club Penguin. Blazer2529 shared some sweet ways to earn coins:
I like to save coins by being a tour guide and secret agent! It feels good because those jobs mean helping penguins and the money I get from them helps even more people world wide! I also like playing games like connect four and mancala because I get to meet all kinds of new friends and that means not only am I earning money to donate, but the person I’m playing with is too!
Nice answer, Blazer2529!

Speaking of coins and donating… Earlier this month Billybob announced the results of Coins For Change. Thanks to your support, we’ve donated $620,000 to help build safe places like libraries, schools and playgrounds for kids. So for this week’s Reviewed by You, we want to know… If you could send a message to the kids we’re supporting through Coins For Change, what would you say?
Share your message in the comments below. I’ll randomly pick one of your comments to feature on our next Reviewed by You blog post. If your comment is featured, you’ll even get a 10,000 coin prize added to your account!
Waddle On! :)
